Nails, Polished Paws and bows galore!

Having someone pamper you always feels deliciously good.  Last night I went to visit Monaco Nail Artists.  From corporate employers looking after their staff or an employee who understands the value of a chance to relax mid-week to Hens Parties and Weddings Monaco Nails have it covered.

I've always been a fan of the slighly OTT side of Nail art.  Crazy pink spakly, cute Japanese inspired nail art is very very easy to find on the internet.  Turns out in real life tho its alot harder to find on the street.  Feelings as if I'm going in search of some sort of hard to come-by substance or underground gambling hall is not really the kind of feeling you want when going to get some fancy nails done!!

I'm planning a house warming party in a month or so, and origionally I was just planning on having my brother (who has just finished a cocktail/hospo course and is dying to practice) put on his 'Mixologist' hat and make a gaggle of girls tipsy on delicious beverages.. Having my nails done now has gotten me to thinking - I might just have Monaco Nails come to my place!!  What better than a classy elegant gossip session in my own living room getting wined dined and pamperd!

Professionail booths are just about in every mall these days and altho very cheep absolutely reek of acitone and gawd knows what other chemicals.  If you've sensitive skin or nose this is worrying.  When was the last time you saw a pregnant nail artist in one of those places?  Never? Yep because they're not silly enough to get exposed to all those chemicals, then it can't really be too healthy for you and I, right?  Especially if you get your nails done regularly.  And if you've got an afordable door to door service available, really there isn't any excuse!

I'm a huge fanatic about bows.  I've a total of seven tattoo'd on me and have a myriad of hair clips rings and other bright bow accessories scattered around my room.  Now I have 7 bows on my fingers. I thought I was going to explode with excitement as they were getting done.  It took a couple of hours in between myself, Penny and my Bloggy girlfriend Hannah ooing and ahhhing over tiny fairy pots of beads and glitter.  (Worth it for my ADHD self to stay seated in one place for that long) And I'm sure I talked 10000 to the dozen to make up for not getting in my Monday Gym work out.

Hairdressers and other people in the beauty industry must really notice when they have excited or loyal customers who come back regularly and just brain dump (read: talk their ears off), but it rather rare to find someone on the other end of a file or hairdryer that can instantly make you feel relaxed and join in your excited energy in what ever your on about.

Burlesque dancers pride them selves on a complete look.  If its vintage, it the dress, the hair, the heels, the make up and of course the nails!  I can't wait to theme my next routine right down to nail art that matches..  I can just visualise cotton candy and candy mint nails!!   If you're any kind of fan of Lady Gaga's have a gaggle at this!!  Nails that not only match but embody every part of each Gaga outfit!  Its amazing!!
